Boro recently completed this 337,800 sq ft state-of-the-art High School in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, for the Lower Merion School District. Boro Construction is performing all General, Mechanical, and electrical construction work on this project. The school has a professional-grade auditorium, gymnasium, natatorium, athletic center, library and media center, computer technology and science laboratories, full-service commercial kitchen and cafeteria, technology shops, and an administration wing. The construction consists of concrete foundation, structural steel frame with brick and decorative CMU on CMU back-up, and interior partitions of masonry and drywall. This project is multi-phased, requiring the construction to coordinate with the existing school still in full operation adjacent to the new construction. The demolition of the original school was completed after the turnover of the new school building. Site finishes are currently ongoing. This project is LEED Certified Silver Certificate through the State of Pennsylvania Green Building Council.
